The seals and gaskets Daetwyler Rubber makes for building construction have to withstand wind, weather and temperature changes. Choosing the right rubber compound is critical to the permanent elasticity, non-ageing properties and weather resistance for which our sealing products are known.

Application-specific materials for building construction

Our in-house rubber compound design and manufacturing capabilities have earned us recognition as a development partner able to deliver innovative solutions and the most consistent quality. We are known for our years of experience in developing materials tailored to specific applications:

Development of flame retardants

  • 60 Shore A, 70 Shore A and 80 Shore A
  • EPDM-based materials for use in rail vehicles according to international fire safety requirements, e.g. DIN 5510 and NFF 16101
  • Silicone materials for use according to BS 6853, NFF 16101 and DIN 5510
