For Daetwyler Rubber, as a supplier of automotive components, meeting the very highest standards of quality is all in a day’s work. Standardised manufacturing processes and fully automated inspection systems ensure consistently high quality – even when producing several million moulded rubber parts for the automotive industry as we do each year. This is the result of our uncompromising commitment to quality in all areas and at all levels.
Certifications
Our manufacturing facilities in Switzerland, the Czech Republic and the USA are certified to ISO/TS 16949:2002. All the other facilities hold ISO 9001 certification.
In addition, we systematically apply commonly accepted procedures:

Seals and gaskets for building construction: true-to-life testing in a window test chamber
Daetwyler has a modern window test chamber for testing new seals and gaskets to current standards. Working together with our customers, we are able to assess new products for driving rain resistance, air leakage (A rating), deflection and wind load resistance based on all existing standards.
Seals and gaskets for civil engineering: successful tests by independent testing laboratories
We custom design and develop sealing solutions for single shell tunnels to fit the needs of each project according to geology, water pressure and design specifications. Independent testing laboratories, such as the Swiss EMPA, German STUVA or Setsco in Singapore, regularly test seals and gaskets from Daetwyler Rubber with excellent results.
